Are you thinking about making the move abroad? Chances are, it’s been on your mind for awhile.
You’re obsessed with another culture
Do you say Napoli instead of Naples? Only buying Spanish wine? Wanting to learn French? Chances are, when you start emercing yourself into other cultures, you would also love a chance to live there! This is one of the most exciting and terrifying feelings in the world. It is a big life step to decide to get out of your comfort zone and life in a country that speaks a different language, has different customs, and is far away from your friends and family. But, I must say that it becomes addicting once you get a taste of the travel life.

You research cost of living
You need to look under the hood before you buy the car, right? Same thing goes for moving to a whole different part of the globe. Don’t be like me and just move completely blind. When I first moved to Sweden, I was dumbfounded by how hard it is the get an apartment in the Stockholm area – and expensive. You’re daydreaming about the new city
If you’re looking at pictures and researching cool things to do already instead of living in your current surroundings, you’re ready to spread your wings and fly!
You don’t know where to start to make it happen
We can dream and dream, but is it possible to make it reality? Absolutly. First, you need to check out the visa section of a country’s embassy website in your home country. For example, if you want to move to Italy and you’re an American, check out the Italian Embassy in Washington D.C’s visa section. Different countries might have various opportunities. Please note, that you can usually only ‘live’ in a country for 90 days legally on a tourist visa. This does not mean you can work legally.
